Aside from the already awesome DVR that comes with this setup (nice interface, good and quiet...etc., etc.), I really have to give it up to the actual cameras! These cameras flat out rock! They feature an all metal housing, including the base! All metal, and you can literally feel the difference in your hands when you compare this to other ones that have cameras that are entirely made of plastic.
I have three systems in place here at my business (trust me...I need 3 separate systems for redundancy) and one of my greatest challenges is to be able to read license plates of cars that suspiciously drive around the building collecting "scrap metal". Hahaha...yeah right! I know we have all heard that story. I know...I know...positioning the cameras is everything to see the things you want to see. These cameras are 1000TVL, and they are a dramatic difference over my 700TVL cameras with regards to image clarity and quality. It was the difference I needed from being able to just recognize the car to actually being able to read and record license plates.
I would say that this is a commercial grade system packaged and presented in a way so that everyone can setup a basic surveillance system to get them going. The cameras are standard BNC connector with 12V DC power. Once you setup the analog infrastructure for this exact system, you're setup for easy upgrades as new technology emerges or becomes affordable.

Would you be willing to post some customer images, especially night shots to demonstrate performance?

Is this from it being recorded as my live view is not clear and cannot zoom in or out. Otherwise when I run the playback - the video is pretty clear.
