I wanted a bag that was just large enough to protect my camera for traveling. I considered a "backpack" style bag but decided that I really don't plan to travel with multiple lenses very often and I always have a regular backpack with me anyway. This bag holds a Canon 60d with a 15-85mm lens mounted , a battery charger with extra battery, a few memory cards, and an extra filter. There is a large secure (zippered) pocket and a couple of small open pockets on the outside. The main pockets are very secure with a zipper and clips. It also has a shoulder strap--I removed it as I don't plan to carry it this way. The inside of the bag has two removable dividers which can be placed to best fit your camera. I removed one divider altogether and my camera (with the lens mounted) fits in sideways with the charger on the bottom. It's a pretty tight fit and I doubt a lens much larger than this would fit but this is pretty much all I wanted it for. I put the whole bag inside a backpack for carryon luggage. I like this bag and I use it mainly as travel protection. When using the camera I leave this bag in my backpack and I use a shoulder strap and the camera hanging loose at my hip ready to use. I am pleased with this bag as it meets my needs. It seems well constructed and has a decent amount of protective padding.
