not a durable smartwool,
This review is from: SmartWool PhD Run Light Mini Crew Running Socks (Apparel)
I own many smartwool socks and am generally quite happy with them. These particular socks are among the lighter-weights good for warm to slightly cool weather. They are great at wicking sweat and keeping your feet dry.
After just a handful of washes, the elastic on the ankle cuff is coming loose and the sock no longer hugs my ankle along the length of the ankle cuff. They sort of sag and look shabby. It's not a huge deal but at the price, you expect high quality socks to last you a while. I have had better luck with the heavier weight socks with more wool in them. I would also suggest hand-washing any high-quality wool socks you have. If I had done that, I doubt these would have been torn up. But then again I have machine washed all my other smartwool and heavy wool socks with little to no negative effect...
