Great Peel - Great Price,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Lactic Acid 50% Gel Peel, Roll-on (Professional) (Health and Beauty)
I was born with fair, extremely sensitive skin that rashes or breaks out when I apply almost anything. I cannot tolerate glycolic acid at all. Not even in small doses, let alone peels.
My dermatologist suggested that I try lactic acid as a less irritating alternative to glycolic acid. This 50% lactic acid peel, unfortunately, is still too strong for my face. Developed an itchy rash that took a week to go away. However, I am able to use it on my chest and body skin which is considerably less sensitive. There was very little stinging when I applied it to my chest so I thought I wouldn't get much result but the skin tightened over the next few days and actually peeled a little. I was very happy with this result for an affordable at home peel. I will continue to do weekly peels on my chest and report back after 5 to 6 treatments as that is what is recommended to see noticeable results.
Not crazy about the roll on dispenser as I felt it didn't let enough product out. But I just removed the roller ball and applied the peel with my fingers and it worked great.
Bottom line: great peel for sensitive skin (but perhaps not ultra-sensitive) that works like it claims. Generous amount - enough for 5 to 6 peels of entire chest area so maybe 7 to 8 face peels.
Seller was great too - fast shipping and packaged well.

I used a 40% roll on lactic acid and it scarred the skin below my brows. I left it on about 3 minutes. It also made red lines co e to surface of my skin. Have you noticed improvement on your chest?
