Is this the final wakeup call for the U.S. and the West?,
This review is from: Rollback: Repealing Big Government Before the Coming Fiscal Collapse (Hardcover)
This book clearly outlines, to my firmest belife, the most likely near-future senario for the western world!!
Someone might argue: "Are you really trying to tell me that wellfare does not work, come on silly. Ofcourse is does, try to take a look at Denmark. They have a big socialistic wellfare state and are rated some of the happiest people in the world."
Well, since I am a Dane let me tell you how I feel Denmark inc. is working.
Living in Denmark, I have been brought up in the education system to belive in the Big Lie, that is to belive that socialism, wellfare and big state will save us all. Please follow me on this one: To pay 100% in tax is equal to being a fulltime slave of the system. In Denmark we pay the highest tax procentage in the world. Does this not then make us Danes the most enslaved people in the world? Ok, we as taxcattle are taken good care of with quite a few freedoms. But why are taxcattle taken good care of? They produce higher yield and comply with paying the ever higher taxes.
And if all this "freedom" doesen't work, we hear the doomsday drums: Denmark can not exist without wellfare, bla. bla. bla.
Just as fear was used in the middleages: if you don't pay indulgences you will go trough the purgatory at the end of your life. Or you will be put to eternal torture in the hereafter. The reasons are the same: building of empires or personal fortunes with slave labour in a more or less sufisticated way, some masters hide behind religion, some behind wellfare. Don't be fooled. Open your eyes. Read Rollback. Take the red pill, wake up, break free from your masters.

Breck Breckenridge says:
Hooray! for Jensen! Finally a voice from the democratic socialisms of Europe. I too used to look at the Scandinavian states, in particular, and say, 'Hey they seem to be working pretty good'. Actually the only difference between your "good" socialism and the Anglo-American brand, is that you are a small enough nation that government is closer to the people (somewhat). Whereas here we are ruled from 'very high above' and have to support not only welfare but our Imperial Troops!
