New Balance MX623,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: New Balance Men's MX623v2 Cross-Training Shoe (Apparel)
The new 623 is not like my "old" 623's from just 6 months ago. The new shoe is half the quality.
I just printed the return form and they are going back.
The fit is way off. My toe touches the front and they are painfully narrow.
Shame on New Balance for passing off this junk to their long term customers.

Your review clearly indicates that items such as this should be bought in a store rather than online. Before buying sneakers (they're not called shoes by the way) you need to touch, examine and try it on. Otherwise you won't know if it fits until it's too late. Since this happened to me I'd rather pay a few dollars more and be sure of what I'm buying.

Big Jay says:
If you are buying the same model and size you should expect it to be the same within a small margin of standard deviation. Since many runners, walkers, and joggers stick to the same shoe (sneaker) and tend to wear them out quickly, it is common to buy a new pair every month or two. The poster is quite right in his irritation on the inconsistency of the product.
