Faulty Product & Terrible Service,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Selectec Ultra-small 60W 16.5V 3.65A Laptop AC Adapter/Power Supply Charger/Power Cord for Apple A1181 A1184 A1278 A1330 MacBooke Pro 13 13.3-inch, Fits Apple MA538LL/A MA538LL/B 661-4269 661-4485 661-3957 (White) (Personal Computers)
I was thrilled when I first got this charger - seemed to work great at a lot less cost than one bought directly from Apple. But after a couple of month I noticed that the computer said "not charging" when it was plugged in. I did some testing and verified that the problem was the charger - not the outlet or the computer. The seller's page claims that they warranty their products for 12 months and will replace any that have problems. So I contacted them TWICE, but never heard back. I won't be buying from this seller again.

Yeah, see what you don't realize is that the OEM Apple Charger is a "Faulty and Terrible Product" too, thus save yourself the repeated hassle of $80/per adapter in favor of $20/per adapter. Sure you could go and cry to Apple everytime your adapter breaks, but I'd rather they just make a product that works especially when they charge $80 for one and they only have a 90 day warranty. So yes, I support this company. I've never heard of anyone who needed "Customer Support" for an AC adapter. Just get a new one, You'll still have paid 1/2 as much as you would for the apple product, and you'd be in the same position.
My Apple MacBook Pro now only charges when it's almost at zero battery life and my MacBook Air Charger won't charge at all. It started out you had to unplug it and replug it to get it to charge, I blew on it and cleaned it and wiped it and polished it the pins all look pretty and beautiful, but it just won't work and Apple is all "oh you bought your computer a year ago sorry we can't help you" would you like to buy one of our $80 chargers? Because as you know you're an apple customer and you can only buy apple products. blah blah blabbety blah"

I have this problem every couple months. This is what I do to fix it.
1) Disconnect charger from macbook
2) Unplug charger from the wall outlet
3) Leave unplugged for a couple minutes
4) Reconnect everything and it should start charging the battery again

I had the exact same issue. Bought the charger, 3 months later, it began shorting and wearing at the base (see buyers photo). Contacted the seller for replacement (twice) with no response. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER!!!

I see your point about price, however, if a seller is going to claim they offer a warranty on their product, they should honor that. It's simply poor business to outright lie and not contact buyers. GO ELSEWHERE!
