5.0 out of 5 stars I Love It When A Plan Comes Together, March 29, 2004
This review is from: The A-Team - Season One (DVD)
Finally, one of the greatest shows of all time is coming to DVD! The A-Team, which focuses on "...a crack commando who were sent to prison for a crime they didn't commit, and promptly escaped into the LA underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire, The A-Team." This show is very fun to watch. The on-screen chemistry the characters have with each other is amazing. You can tell they really enjoy working with each other; Col. John "Hannibal" Smith, the brains of the operation, Lt. Templeton "Face" Peck, the swift, charming con artist, Captain H.M. Murdock, a talented and incredibly goofy pilot, and Sgt. B.A. Baracus, the muscle. With every episode you can always count on plenty of action (the most violent show during it's 5 year run, yet no one was ever killed or even shot), comedy, and simply good times. Watching it, you'll be amazed as to the improbable ways the team gets through improbable situations. A great pick for anyone who justs wants to kick back, and watch a fun show. I can't wait to have all 5 seasons as part of my DVD collection, as well as what I hope to be the up-coming movie.

Star Bux says:
Umm, yeah, forget 'Captain America',
this is the 'A' you want : The original
TV series.

In Season 1, Episode 1, Dirk Benedict
("the face") had not yet been hired, so
some other guy... Also, in Episode 1,
BA, his overalls, one of the straps appears
to have broken, so his overall hangs at an
angle, exposing his red shirt... Red. Blue.
Ever see that famous painting by Da Vinci?
The Last Supper, I think, it is called.

Whose son are you? Your behaviour defines
you. Ham is the father of Canaan... BA
Baracus... Bad Attitude. Break Us... It is
written : Is not my word like as a fire? saith
the LORD. And like a hammer that breaketh
the rock in pieces? See, Jeremiah 23:29, KJV.
The Parable of the Sower : The seed that falls
upon the stony ground... Prophecy: It is written,
I will take the stony heart out of you, and give
you a heart of flesh with which to know me by...

Mad Dog Murdoch, has a way with words, and
is often a source of conflict with BA... "Quit
pulling my leg. The ammonia, it burns the
soles of your shoes. Sorry Colonel, you were
saying?" That was actually one line, and am
not sure if I remember it correctly either.

M. Culea,... Do not remember her being there
so early in the series... The four and the one.

Hannibal... Were not all his plans essentially
the same? Intimidate with ammo?

The Face (Templeton Peck) is somwhere between
a monk and a tease, played effectively by Dirk
Benedict (Battlestar Gallatica, TV series). He
is the "go to guy" when the others need cash,
or need to get by a receptionist, or a secretary.
The others call him "the Face" but is it "his
looks" or his charming command of the English
language, his personality, that impresses the
women to open doors for him?

B.A., to see,..C..E..O.
OK Face, looks like you're up, again.

That said, Da Vinci's painting, 'The Last
Supper', is to be interpreted as a
mirror, revealing the viewer as a believing
Christian. The theme is one of logic on
this side, and emotion on that side. The
question is, How like The Master are you?
Have you been made perfect in love?.. An
interesting feature of the painting, are the
glass cups upon the table, half-full. Glass
was a novel technology that had been
invented around the time Da Vinci made that
painting... So kudos, on the red-blue mirroring.

Logic... Emotion.
Hannibal..Mad Dog.. BA .. The Face.. Amy.
Psychologists call it "Right brain vs. Left brain".
Da Vinci was one smart cook-key.

Truth and Love : Concentrate and Lean.
