*WARNING SPOILERS* I was conflicted about how to rate this novella. On one hand, I really liked the main character. She was funny and I could relate to her. I liked that she was awkward with men and incredibly smart. I also liked that she was a knitter. However, the other characters weren't as interesting. Unfortunately, Mick (the main character) was wasted on this novella. If you can even call it a novella. Really, there was no STORY here. I kept waiting for a plot to start and it never did. Just a silly bet where Mick had to date people her dating service matched her with. Potential for humorous bad dates, but nothing. The main guy was nice, but there wasn't a lot of interest or romance. Basically no conflict. The only "issue" was the fact that Mick felt weird that the guy writes erotic novels. I really wanted to like it, especially with all the good reviews, but in the end it just didn't do it for me.
