How anyone with k.d. laing's talent was able to make a flat and uninteresting cover album of Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, Bruce Cockburn and Leonard Cohen songs is the question of the age. Besides the fact that laing sings every single one of them with the passion of a sponge, with one or two exceptions, every song here has been heard to death around the world, let alone in Canada. A monumental bellyflop from a normally great musician.

What were you doing here if you don't know. It's
probably better if YOU don't know.
