A knock-off Rolex sells for $10,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: SanDisk 32GB microSDHC Memory Card (Bulk Package) (Personal Computers)
So why isn't this card selling for fifty cents. That is about what it's worth. It is the sort you buy at a computer fair, and although you think it's fake, it's cheap enough that you may take a chance with it. Amazon switches vendors on this item about every day. Mine came from Prime 2 Day. So your mileage may vary.
From the first minute, it exhibited typical fake characteristics when used with several computers.
- It is in bulk packaging. No retail packaging, No printed material. No shrink wrap. Nothing.
- Printing on the card is skewed and poor quality.
- Capacity under specs.
- Slow file transfer.
- Incomplete file transfer.
- Sporadic recognition of card.
- Early failure.
- Upon failure cannot be formatted.
You are always taking a chance with these things. Maybe it will work. Maybe it won't. And maybe in your phone it will be slow and undersized, but you won't notice. But do yourself a favor. If you want to take a chance, buy one from Benny on the street corner for fifty cents.

Thank you Gingko, I sent mine back as soon as I saw it. Getting burned by overseas companies cranking these things out, just don't care about who buys it and MAY rely on a potentially faulty product. Just to add a note, they used a typical stock photo of a genuine Sandisk card. In my book... that's fraud.

Important question: which seller did you use to buy the card that turned out to be fake? There are 23 different sellers on here selling this card, two of which are fulfilled by Amazon (Blue Proton and Memory Mogul). I was planning on purchasing this card through one of those two since I've never had any problems with products bought through Amazon or through an Amazon-fulfilled seller and when I need to make a return or need customer service they (Amazon) are always very helpful.
So which seller did you buy it from? And should I be relatively assured of receiving a genuine card if I buy it from one of the sellers that has Amazon Fulfillment?
