....but I laughed!,
This review is from: Julie & Julia 365 Days, 524 Recipes, 1 Tiny Apartment Kitchen (Paperback)
This book will never win any kind of publishing prize. The prose is not spectacular. The plot...what plot? It's a disjointed memoir that reads somewhat like a blog of someone with ADD. It's just not that good, in any way.
But it made me laugh. This is not a serious work of literature, but it's a cute enough story to pick up on a snowy afternoon when there's not much else going on. It's vaguely amusing on the whole, and there are a few parts which are genuinely funny. That's worth a few stars right there.
