5.0 out of 5 stars Kurt Russell and Disney.... a five star combo, November 25, 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Disney 4-Movie Collection: Kurt Russell (Strongest Man in World / Computer Wore Tennis Shoes / Horse in the Grey Flanel / Now You See Him) (DVD)
I'm a humongous Kurt Russell fan, especially his action films from the 80's and 90's, but he is still in top form during his Disney days, especially playing the Dexter Riley roles. Computer Wore Tennis Shoes and Now You See Him,Now You Don't are the standouts here. The only thing i would change about this combo would be to substitute Horse in the Grey Flannel Shirt with Barefoot Executive, which is not included in this collection. Fun, harmless Disney films from the good ole days.

I agree that THE BAREFOOT EXECUTIVE belonged in this 4-pack, being a sort of Dexter Riley movie without Dexter Riley. But we can get that on its own, and this set will bring more fans to THE HORSE IN THE GRAY-FLANNEL SUIT, a lesser-known but worthy film even if Kurt's not the star.

At least Disney Home Video didn't try to pawn off the horrible SUPERDAD on us.

Kurt Fans: Don't miss our guy's two Disney films with Fred MacMurray:
Charley And The Angel
and WALT Disney's beloved Follow Me, Boys!
with young Kurt giving a strong dramatic performance in his first leading role.

I liked Superdad! I remember watching it on TV and also in elementary school they showed it to us in the auditorium.
