Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Dell Latitude D630 14.1-Inch Notebook PC (Windows XP Professional-32bit) - Silver (Personal Computers)
I got this laptop in a timely manner and it appears to be in excellent shape. However, when I had problems and called Dell tech support, they told me that the laptop owner had not transferred the laptop to me. Thus, I am unable to get help! I have contacted the seller requesting assistance with this, but have not heard back. When buying a laptop, be sure you get the ownership transferred to you.

Once they get your money, some company's don't care about the customer. There are good deals out there, just do some research on the company before buying from them.

Who you bought it from will be more helpful...I have bought Dells and although a great machine, their service dept is not worth the phone call, they all give you the runaround and then want more money to fix anything, swore I would never by another new Dell. Not because a Dell is not good, it is due to the service, I can't believe they would have helped you had they transferred it...just giving you a line.

I have bought several Dells and am not sure where I got this specific one. Suggest you only buy from sellers who get excellent reviews or contact the seller in advance about the support issue.
