Anti-glare Screen- A MUST HAVE FOR KINDLE FIRE,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: GreatShield Ultra Anti-Glare (Matte) Clear Screen Protector Film for Amazon Kindle Fire, 3 Pack (does not fit Kindle Fire HD) (Accessory)I love my Kindle Fire and highly recommend but I was very disappointed with the fact I couldn't read outside because of the glare. I purchased this anti-glare screen from Amazon and voila! Problem fully solved. I previously had been to several stores and no one had anything like this to match what I needed. For those of you that love to be outside to read, this is an ABSOLUTE MUST to get. Suzanne B

I have the Kindle Fire and Kindle Keyboard, and I am very aware of how the Kindle Fire glares in the sun. I know I can read my Kindle Keyboard in the sun, no problem; but it just is not my Kindle Fire. So, I do believe this would help that issue. Thank you for this review!

I was told the new Kindle Fire doesn't need an anti glare screen protector. Does anyone have a new one and is it true?

It definitely needs an anti glare screen. I took my new Kindle Fire on a cruise and was not able to read outside.

Same thing happened to me! Guess I will try this anti-glare thing.

I'm so glad another person agrees with me! I saw someone else's review on here about how you could read in the sun and knew I had to try it (for $8, what do you really lose?) Most protectors will cost you /much/ more than that and don't even offer reduced glare (And I have a Zagg protector and it did nothing for glare). I'm glad you saw how great this protector really is.

After reading this post, I immediately ordered this product. Was so excited to receive it. It was extremely easy to attach and get bubbles out. However, I still can't read my Kindle Fire beside the pool. SO DISAPPOINTED.

I have never had a problem with glare - make sure to turn the brightness up to the highest setting. Hope this helps you.

I found that if I gave the Kindle Fire the black background with the white font it's easier to read in the sun. Not 100%, but better
