takes too long to cook,
This review is from: Zojirushi NS-TSC10 5-1/2-Cup (Uncooked) Micom Rice Cooker and Warmer, 1.0-Liter (Kitchen)zojirushi is a good brand, no doubt ! It cooks really good short/medium grain white and brown rice. I haven't tried it on any other rice grains. One trick I learned from my g'ma, fluff your rice 3-5 mins after it cooks, covers and unplug. My only problem is that I took forever to cook. I think it's like 45 min for white rice and 60 min for brown- something like that.

Making rice takes time so 30-45mn for white rice is average. 60mn for brown rice is also not crazy. Try cooking rice on the stovetop. It takes the same amount of time or longer!

Actually there are a lot of common rice cookers that cook faster. That didn't stop me from buying this one, but it's a fair comment and it's helpful for people to know how long it takes to cook rice. I don't know how anybody could say that it's unhelpful to know that.
