3.0 out of 5 stars Thanks for nothing, August 13, 2011
This review is from: The Long Night: William L. Shirer and the Rise and Fall of the Third Reich (Hardcover)
It may seem trivial, but the day I even think about buying a Kindle book for a buck fifty MORE than the hardback version, My Kindle goes out the window

Hey, you're supposed to review the book itself, i.e. the work of the author, NOT Amazon.com's Kindle pricing.

Who cares about what you wish to buy or your financial considerations. This is a book review!

Thank god there a people like you here to dictate what is an appropriate post and what's not. Thanks very much for reminding me--now hurry, you don't want to be late to your Mensa meeting again!

This is a place for reviews. You did not review the book. You ranted about Kindle prices. Therefore in point of fact, you made an inappropriate post. Sadly, no one can stop you from doing so, but anyone going to the review section of the page for a review of the book would be disappointed by your rant. Perhaps you should get a blog where you can rant to your heart's delight. Or post a real review of the book, which I am seriously considering buying. Tells us why you gave it 3 stars. Or did you actually read it at all?

Wow. You use the word "rant" three times to describe what I consider to be a fairly innoculously written post. If you review some other collections of Amazon book reviews, you will see that many people use this space to present "non-review" posts, but what they consider appropriate comments regarding an individual book. Don't worry about my heart's delight: Irritating you and your ilk is reward enough.
