Acceptable, but not great.....,
This review is from: Get a Grip on Physics (Dover Books on Physics) (Paperback)
.......I opened this book expecting it to be like the Homework Helpers: Physics, Revised Edition, and like the Physics for Scientists and Engineers, 4-Volume Set, Chapters 1-39. Both books are superb. This book, however, is like Kindergarten compared to the 6th Grade! I guess that if you are a complete and total idiot, this book will suffice. But, if you have completed Algebra 1 and 2, (plus a little Geometry and basic Trig like the kind you do in PreAlgebra), than this book is totally stupid. It does, on the other hand, give the reader a VERY simple outline of physics, without all the math. Yet I always say, Math is the language of science.
If you are an adult who doesn't do science or math for a living, i guess this book would be OK. But if you are a college student----or, for that matter, a highschooler----this book is way too easy.

If the book is okay for laymen, how can it be "totally stupid"?
