Can't download songs on the wii platform,
This review is from: Karaoke Revolution Bundle - Nintendo Wii (Video Game)
I bought this game for my daughter for christmas, she loves the game. She loves to customize the characters, and sing. What amazes me is that the company spent so much time with the customization of character and venue, but forgot the music part. I bought the game for the wii, I was told that you could download new music, but i just found out the wii version does not have that option. It cost more, but doesn't have that option. Surprise Surprise.. It's only been a few days and my daughter already wants new songs to sing to, and I just found out I spent 50 dollars for a game that i can't add new music too. If i had known that I wouldn't have bought it. In a couple weeks that game will end up collecting dust, because everyone is tired of the same song over and over again. I'd like to know if the company is going to make a patch to fix this problem...

I Agree and wish I had read this review first. We thought the songs are great, we were so excited to get the record completed, and couldn't wait to see what new songs we earned. I could not believe it when I read on line there is no way of getting new songs. BUMMER!!!! We spent $50 and the trade in value is $11. Ours too will sit and maybe get played a couple times a month.

Sell it on Amazon so I can purchase it for a discount price! I love and have all the Karaoke games for the Wii, It's more of a collection for me since I don't really purchase any other Wii games :-)

the Wii doesn't have a hard-drive attachment like the xbox 360 and ps2 do. So it doesn't play mp3s at all. This is probably why it doesn't have this function. But users could still store their songs on SD cards, which hold quite a bit of space and are inexpensive.
It sucks that this game is like that. I hope they come out with themed expansion packs like rock band and guitar hero do to help fix this problem. Then people could buy the version with the songs they wanted to sing.
