5.0 out of 5 stars A great product, May 22, 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: ZyXEL 3-in-1 Wireless N Pocket Travel Router, Access Point, and Ethernet Client (MWR102) (Personal Computers)
I purchased this to provide my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 with wifi. The product's range with interference isn't as far as many bigger routers, but it's to be expected with the small size of the router, as well as the lack of an external antennae. I was torn between this router and the Apple Airport Express, I think that I can confidently say that I made the right choice.

I needed a product that could act literally as a mini-router, by which I mean signal in and signal out for ethernet cables, which the airport express doesn't provide. The build quality is nice, and the carry pouch provided will fit the included ethernet cable, the router, as well as the usb power cord. It will not however fit the ac adapter in addition, but I throw this in a backpack, so it's of no concern to me, just thought I would mention it.

Overall, the product is deserving of 5 stars, the price point, the feature set, and the quality, all fit my purposes perfectly.

I'm a Mac geek, but I love ZyXel routers! Apple routers have great performance, in this case probably better than the ZyXel, but not for ZyXel's amazing price! I've bought a LOT of ZyXel routers over the years! I was looking for a small travel router, and the reviews have convinced me this should be it. To be clear, it DOES come with a length of Cat5?
