Costco Shoppers Don't Even Think About It.,
This review is from: Olympus VR-320 14 MP Digital Camera with 12.5x Optical Zoom and 3" LCD (Black) (Old Model) (Electronics)
I got this camera from Costco because the price was great and I figured the specs were great for the price. Boy was I wrong. This is by far the worst camera of any price I ever encountered. I have an old Canon Elph that is 6 years old and that camera blows this Olympus out of the water.
VR 310 takes awful low light pictures. The picture quality is equal to 1 megapixel quality picture from 1996. I was so angry at Olympus for putting out this product. They are better than this. The camera feels cheap, but the picture quality is below cheap. It's unacceptable for a product that is put out in 2011.
If you decide to purchase this camera, consider yourself warned. I wished I had a honest review to go by before purchasing this piece of crap.

Sorry if I sound picky, but did you buy a VR-310 or VR-320? Your review was on the VR-320 page, but your review mentions the VR-310 as being awful....??

I like(love) my olympus pen so i tried this pocket zoom in a Sam Club and i was not impressed either. The price was in my range but I thought it felt alittle on the cheap side too (Oh Well) that did not matter to much for me with this cammera. What did matter though was the zoom and focus speed which was a bit slow. Its hard to tell what the IQ was on the screen display without downloading them to Ib so i cant give an opinion on that, but the screen did freeze to a green screen while i was checking it out.In the end I went for the extreamly quick focusing, extreamly long zooming, extreamly over-processing(in auto which is easily adjusted out of auto),and EXTREAMLY EXSPENSIVE Sony Hx9v. In which Iam am happy.
