Good boots, but not waterproof in any way,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: BEARPAW Women's Emma Tall (Apparel)
Comfort: These boots cut open the back of my ankle the first week I wore them, but after that they've been just fine.
Warmth: They seemed really warm for the first couple weeks, but I've learned you need warm socks with them to have warm feet. The boots aren't enough to keep you warm.
Waterproof: The boots are not waterproof at all. Sometimes this is fine for lots of snow, but if you step in any puddles the water will soak right through.
Despite all these things, I do like them. They are very comfortable (after the first week of wearing blister band-aids), they are very warm when worn with appropriate socks, and they keep the snow off my legs and feet which is really what I was looking for. They also stretch nicely so that my bare legs fit in them, but I can also tuck my jeans inside.
Overall, I like them, but will look for waterproof boots next time I'm shopping for winter boots.

Tiffany Thomas says:
They aren't waterproof BECAUSE they're suede. You have to spray them with waterproof spray just like leather, I only paid 5 bucks for the spray.
