1.0 out of 5 stars Nothing New. Nothing Interesting. So Fox News Will Highlight It!, July 8, 2014
This review is from: Assault and Flattery: The Truth About the Left and Their War on Women (Hardcover)
Absolutely nothing new or interesting. It's a polemic attack with no substance.

But, then again, that's the name of the game for moving "CONservative" books these days to people still believing America exists.

If America is so exceptional, what happened in places like Camden, Newark, Detroit, Birmingham, and the south side of Chicago?

America will have capsized and sunk to the bottom of the ocean, but people like Katie Pavlich will still be saluting the flag as if Ronald Reagan is magically going to appear riding a T-Rex and resurrect the country.

"If America is so exceptional, what happened in places like Camden, Newark, Detroit, Birmingham, and the south side of Chicago?"

Someone already took the time to respond to your:

Don't let the facts get in the way of your demonizing a competent author...but do a bit of research on which states are prospering-low unemployment, higher standards of living, any of the key financial indicators. Then check out the states that are not prospering AND of course the cities you just mentioned...and again, DO NOT LET THE FACTS GET IN YOUR WAY, but then check out who runs these prospering states and who has BEEN RUNNING these bottomed out cities that you mention and many of the failing states.

I won't ask how much of the book you actually read...

What an odd set of reviews ... it seems that none of the reviewers (one star and five star) have anything to say about the book. I hope some people take the time to read the book and put up some thoughtful reviews!

What happened to those cities? They have all elected Democrats for the past several years.

This book was just released today, I find it unbelievable that four people have already read it and reviewed it!

Just so everybody's knows I have reported this review to Amazon for all the good it will do, like the other one, for clearly this is NOT A REVIEW. Funny that the "reviewer" points out there is "absolutely nothing new or interesting" because it completely describes their view of this book right down the middle. "[A] polemic attack with no substance"? For the honest observer that would describe this "review" again. I could write the same thing to a hundred books and be just as accurate, but I would also be one dimensional and empty-headed as well and I will venture a guess, because I haven't read this book yet, that if you meet this "review" here - that would be a real waste of time, whereas this book would be time while spent; based on the articles the writer has authored and from an interview of her discussing this book in great detail.
