5.0 out of 5 stars What a unique game!, November 24, 2012
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: ZombiU - Nintendo Wii U (Video Game)
There are so many unique details that the dev team added to this game to make it even more special. Some people don't like the "one life" thing, and I understand that, but it really adds a lot of depth and makes you as a player more careful when trying to survive. Plus, it's really not that difficult to find the Zombie version of yourself to get your loot back.

Each survivor that you play as has a different personality; from the wimpy female, almost crying as she bashes the heads in of a zombie, to a maniac who laughs crazily as he does the same. The story and characters are very interesting, and overall, it's a presentation that you just don't see elsewhere.

The new GamePad adds a lot to the game as well, as it is used as a map, inventory system, survivor stats, and even a voice communicator between you and the character watching over you. Some of the "minigames" are a little silly, like tapping on the GamePad to put up a barricade on the door, but for the most part, it's a blast to use.

Some of the reviews out there are putting this game down because of how unforgiving it can be, but if you like survival games, or even most action games and can spend the extra few minutes getting your loot back, then it's definitely a worthy buy.

Do you know the part in the game when you upgrade the radar? Can you progress on through the game without the upgrade and if not can you turn off that god awful ping sound that is constant?
