Samsung Laptop NP300E5C-AO3US,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Samsung Series 3 NP300E5C-A03US 15.6-Inch Laptop (Blue Silver) (Personal Computers)
Fast processor, 3rd Generation I5 but wrong speed is indicated in the product description. It's only 2.5 mhz not 2.6 mhz.
After 2 months of regular use, I'm fully satisfied with its performance. Though I have a minor concern . . The position of the touchpad is little bit closer to my left hand but I'm left handed so my left hand palm keep on touching the touch pad which moves the cursor unintentionally when I write.

Hi, it may help you to turn of the ability to double tap the palm rest area that you move the cursor with. Disabling this will stop making you accidentally click, just having the cursor move is no big deal really when typing but having it click just by having you fingers hit the mousing area can cause you to start typing in different places. I also think there is a way to turn of the touch pad completely and use a mouse instead.

It is also possible to turn off the touch pad while you are typing.

There is a typo in the original review as well. GHz, not mHz. Huge difference.

I installed the latest touchpad driver from Samsung's support site and can type with ease. I can rest my hands on the laptop and even if they happen to touch the touchpad, it's no big deal because the touchpad becomes temporarily disabled for about one a half-second after any keystroke.
