Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Bobkona Trenton 2-Piece Sectional Sofa with Accent Pillows, Hazelnut (Kitchen)
Let me first say that the product I received was not the product pictured on Amazon.com I purchased. I purchased this sectional for a bit under $600.. great price you would think... think again!
When I got the sectional in, the box looks fine, nothing major to be concern about. When I open the box and unpack everything, I notice that some of the backing under the faux leather was broken and when I took a closer look at it, it turns out all the backings on the sectional were made from CARDBOARD!!! A very thin on, not even the hard type you see at a retail grocery store that is used on end caps. Two of the back sections were broken, looks like someone punch through it but you can't see it from the outside because it's covered by the faux leather. Bolts don't all lined up the where it's supposed to and there was no instruction on how to put it together. They did provide 2 copies of the same thing, a diagram of all the part and how it looks put together. Amazon did have a video of how to assemble the sectional but again, the one I received was not what was on the video. The base was the same but the back assembly was not. The sides were not the same and even the cushion was not the same.
You are supposed to be able to assemble the sectional in two ways, an L shape to the right or an L shape to the left but the one I got can only be assembled with a L shape to the left basically because 2 of the backing and one of the cushion was not the same as the one on Amazon where I purchased it from.
Even after I managed to put everything together, it was clear that the backing for this sectional was not sturdy and will not stand up to daily abuse. When you sat down, the back would move a bit and give way and I would have to be careful not to put too much weight on it. I'm not a big guy, weight 160Lbs so if you are a big guy, don't even think about laying back on this sectional. If you plan to put this sectional against the wall, you would be ok because the walls would give you extra support.

If it was obviously not what you ordered, had broken pieces, and looked bad, why didn't you send this back and get a refund or at least call and demand the product you ordered? I don't mean to be harsh, but even if it is difficult to send back, I can't see why you would not at least contact Amazon and see if they offered a free shipping for returning it or at least told them about the defects.
