1.0 out of 5 stars AVOID at all costs!!!, September 11, 2011
This review is from: Transformers: Dark of the Moon (Two-Disc Blu-ray/DVD Combo) (Blu-ray)
If you like any special features at all do not buy this version. They are doing the same thing as Avatar. This release gets a full price but absolutely zero special features. Not so much as a trailer. They will be putting out deluxe versions toward the end of the year including a 3D combo pack, blu ray combo pack & dvd. ALL will be packed & you will kick yourself for having to buy this a second time. Many people don't care about features but if you do consider yourself forewarned. And it's not like they're giving you a cut on the price for a "movie only" release.

You shouldn't review a product negatively based on it not having something that it never says it has. It warps the actual ratings.

Well i for one really appreciate the heads up! I had been looking and wondering why they didn't put out a special features copy like the other 2 previous movies. So, now thanks to you i know i can head back to the store to purchase a copy with all the extras! I knew there was a good reason why i waited.

Thanks for the heads up. Unlike what some people have said, I enjoy watching the special features. It gives you something else to watch after you've killed the movie about 5 times... in a day.

It's now December 18, 2011. A week before Christmas and the only thing releasing so far is the Transformers Trilogy (Blu-ray only) for $76.99, $39.99 if you pre-order on Amazon. Where is this 3D Combo Pack (3D+Blu-ray+DVD+Digital Copy) you speak of?

The 3D combo pack of this movie contains an UltraViolet Digital Copy and will arrive Jan. 2012. Unless it also comes with an iTunes Digital Copy too, this is the version that you should get. This is why there a lot of people who do not like the new combo packs that Warner Brothers and Sony are releasing because they don't offer you a choice between UltraViolet and iTunes. But let's wait and see what Paramount does first.

Check the details. This version DOES, in fact, contain bonus features. Hold off on your reviews until you research something & more importantly, actually review the item please.

Okay, what is being discussed here? The movie, or all the stuff it comes with? If you are going to review a film, you should at least mention if the actual content was any good...

Man, I wish I had read this before buying it. After all the reviews I read before buying a product, I don't see this one. Ugh.
