But in the product description it clearly states_(Non Oem)_ which means 'non or not Original Epquipment Manufacturer'-OEM

(This review is from: Nintendo Wii Remote and Nunchuck Controller Combo - Black (Non Oem)-Includes Silicone Sleeve and Wrist Strap)_this statement prefaces your review, after the amazon verified purchase statement- which means that info was part of the product description when you ordered it.

So it is for the nintendo wii_ it just wasn't produced by the Original Equipment Manufacturer_ like generic drugs or store brands

Thank you for this comment. It was very informative for me. In Maggie's defense, I didn't know what "Non Oem" stood for. I am willing to guess that there are may of us that don't have that knowledge. Thank you for taking the time to explain it to us!

This IS a Nintendo wii controller, it's just not made by Nintendo. DBRoth is the manufacturer, it's stated quite clearly after the title as "by DBRoth". Note also that this is not necessarily where you got the product from either, that is listed here after "ships from and sold by" as New Harbor. Shopping online always has its dangers, you have to make sure you completely inspect the product page first before buying.

If your grandchildren don't appreciate the present just because it didn't come in a Nintendo branded box they're materialistic spoiled brats and don't deserve your gift - get a cute bag and something else to stick in it like a super mario plush, yeeeash!

I know this review is dated 4 years ago, but I think your review is unfair. I just received mine and it looks exactly as the top rated reviewer shows in his video. You must have gotten a defective shipment. This is a very nice quality controller for the price.

I really dislike it when people don't take the time to read a product description, then give the product a bad review because of their mistake. This is clearly a wii remote and nunchuck as advertised. It is just an aftermarket product and is not manufactured by Nintendo (Wii). The item description clearly states that this is a non-OEM controller and comes in bulk packaging. That's why they cost so much less. If you want it to say Nintendo on it and arrive in a fancy box that will go straight into the trash can, then spend 4 times the money and buy the OEM product.

How can you hand them loose controllers? Man, if only someone would invent like a bag for gifts. You could call it a "gift bag." Or maybe a box with some decorative paper to wrap it in.
