I admit it - I'm a Dallas addict. So imagine my response when, last night, I opened the inner box to put away Disc 2 and start on Disc 3... only to find I've been supplied TWO Disc 2s and no Disc 3! A call to Amazon was not even remotely helpful, "I'm sorry, but you're past your 30 day return window." I'll make future purchases elsewhere.

We played by the rules and we still haven't been able to get a working Disc 5 Side B!

I had an issue with Season 6, Disc 1 being largely unviewable. I was within the 30-day return period and Amazon replaced it (return shipping paid by Amazon). When I got to watching Season 6, Disc 3, Side B, I found it contained the same episodes as Side A. I was within the replacement's 30-day return period. However, since this was potentially a wider problem than just a single bad disc, Amazon gave me the choice of a discount or crediting my credit card (I took the credit). I really liked the way Amazon handled these bad discs (also had a problem with one of the Season 5 discs having video/audio that was unviewable and they handled it too). I have to commend them too on their prompt return service. I ended up purchasing the replacement Season 6 DVD from a local book seller. While Amazon treated me very well (including making it super easy to return that bad DVDs), I can see people preferring the quicker exchange turn-around from a local retailer (although Season 6 was about $10 higher at the local bookseller than from Amazon). I am still debating about what I want to do with ordering Season 9. I have about 2 discs remaining of Season 8.

yeah, my Season 7 disc 5, the last remaining 6 episodes were totally screwed up, & "Best Buy"(where I got it) wasn't carrying this one no more, so had to get the season elsewhere again, thankfully that one was o.k., now I am getting ready to watch Season 8, boy is it going to be grueling wondering if they will all play, my comment to Warner Bros.>>> THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
