This review is from: Kodak 120 Professional Portra Color Film (ISO 160) 1808674 (Electronics)
Kodak's most recent color negative film is the new Portra 160. This film has the lowest amount of contrast out of all Kodak's color negative films, which contributes to a lovely and soft look. If you're attempting to shoot this film like you would with the old Portra 160 VC, don't. You're far better off using Ektar 100 for that vivid level of saturation. However, if your intent is anything that centers around people, this film is ideal. It renders skin-tones (as advertised) beautifully, and the tremendous dynamic range that the film is capable of ensures beautiful highlight and light tones exposed 1-1.5 stops higher under many light conditions. In short, it's gorgeous. The best advice would be to try it out yourself.
