Unite and Petition Krups to bring this amazing product back!,

This review is from: Krups 468-42 Moka Brew 8-Cup Coffeemaker (Kitchen)
I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! They discontinued it ...TWICE!!!
For once, a company makes a truly innovative product that is distinctive, an improvement over conventional, and gets excellent reviews and develops a loyal fan base of coffee lovers and then poo poos on them by discontinuing the product! I'm really mad at Krups for taking things to the next level but then not marketing the product well, not paying any attention to the fans of the product, not reading reviews on retailer site, and allowing this great product to flop.
To add insult to this debacle Krups then roll out 4,000,000 new coffee machines that are the same crap as the original drip coffee machine with plastic guts and tubes, with shiny metal covers like some Harley, and more useless electronic gadgets that make the coffee 0% better. Look at all the auto drip coffee machines out there by Krups, they look nice but it's the same goat biscuit that every other auto drip manufacturer makes! The coffee still sucks! The Moka Brew was an innovation and they killed it. It's just wrong!
It's like if Ford came out with a flying car that runs on dirty diapers, reduces global warming, and promotes the Middle East peace process but then they decided that it wasn't as valuable as a redesigned '76 Pinto so they decided to redesign a '76 Pinto, give it some rims, and then resell it today. I have bought 3 of these Moka Brew suckers and they are the flying car of coffees! Go to Krups website and lobby them to bring this great machine back to help the world have a better cup of coffee! Invite your friends, family and neighbors to have a cup of coffee and flaunt the fact that Krups discontinued this great product! Make them jealous if you have to but recruit them to our cause. Give your Moka brewed coffee away at the office, at parties, on the streets and show the masses what they're missing.
Please help me harass Krups into bringing this fine specimen of beverage engineering back to the people! Help me get a replacement without paying $250 on eBay from some goat of a human being for a USED one that I know has been washed since 2008! I want a new one now that my old one is gone! For those who have one, you know that someday you'll need a new one, too. Unite! And get Krups to come to their senses!
Help me get Krups to bring this holy grail of coffee machines back! If they brought the price to $100 instead of $180, that would also be appreciated)

You love this machine and want to see it come back...so you moan and complain on a retailer review site and give the "fabulous" product 1 star? Brilliant. No wonder the machine is dead in the water with "fans" like you trying to revive it. I'd like to help you...I'll try shouting into my refrigerator and see if Krups listens?

I agree, revise your review and give the Moka Brew 5 stars--it deserves it. I've had a Moka Brew for a couple of years now and it continues to make phenomenally great tasting coffee. I recently bought a refurbished one for my son for his birthday on eBay because he loves my coffee. It cost $140, arrived in like-new condition and he's thrilled with it. Before finding one on eBay I wrote to Krups and asked why they discontinued the Moka Brew and they said it didn't sell as well as they wanted. Interesting...I heard it's one of the most popular coffee makers in Germany.
