Water Pik Not Durable,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Waterpik WP-100 Handle Assembly Kit (Health and Beauty)
We have used the Waterpik for only 3 months and already need to replace the handle. We foolishly did not save the purchase receipt otherwise it would be a warranty claim. Evenso, we are very disappointed with the lack of quality in the handle assembly. It is cheap plastic, the on/off button sticks and the tip locking mechanism broke making it impossible to lock the tip in. I do not recommend this product.

TRY calling WP cust. svc @ 1-800-525-2774. Explain the problem, they may have mercy and do the right thing. The reps seem to be nice people in my dealings. And their price is as of three weeks ago (8-25-08) is $5.50 for the hose kit if you can't talk them into a freebee. Plus some S&H naturally.

I bought mine about a year ago. The handle broke, so I called customer service to ask if I can get a replacement, they asked me to read them the model and serial number and they said they will send me a replacement for free.

My handle started to leak badly where the tip is inserted (kept popping out). I didn't have the receipt but with the serial number underneath they were able to determine manufacture date and that product is still in warranty. Great customer service (1-866-205-7802) answered right away, no hold or recordings - free replacement shipped immediately.
