1.0 out of 5 stars It was trash in 4 months., March 19, 2014
This review is from: Lenovo B590 Windows 7 i3 15.6-Inch Laptop (Black) 59410451 (Personal Computers)
This started as a great computer. Aside from the fatal battery issue, this machine was great. I upgraded the memory from 4Gb to 8Gb and it made all the difference in the world in terms of performance. I used this machine for work only. Remoting into networks, switch/router configs, wireless gear configs, ect.
The problem I had was the battery stopped charging. At first it worked fine. Then it wouldn't charge the battery. Once the battery died, it sat for 3 days, and just like easter, it rose from the dead and charged to 100%.
Had any number of techs look at it....battery was fine, charger was fine....seemed to be a driver issue.....replaced the OS, replaced the drivers......After many many hours of diagnostics, it died, never to charge again. In 4 months it was on the trash heap.

OK, so you posted pretty much the same review on the Pentium version here: http://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-Windows-Pentium-15-6-Inch-59410452/product-reviews/B00HEYVAN6/ref=cm_cr_dp_qt_hist_one?ie=UTF8&filterBy=addOneStar&showViewpoints=0

Which model are you reviewing, the Pentium or the i3?

Looks to me like you're just trying to flame B590's in general. I'm trying to get a feel for these things, and reviews like yours are worse than useless.

(I'm posting the same comment on the review I linked above.)

I suppose things happen. At 4 months wasn't it still under warranty? Did you resolve it with Lenovo or just put it on the "Trash heap"?

I was wondering the same thing....
