I like this very much,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: CowboyStudio Pro 30-Inch Octagon Umbrella Speedlite Softbox for Nikon Canon Flash Light (Electronics)
I've gotten good photos using this with a single Sony HVL-F43AM Sony Alpha System HVL-F43AM Flash Unit for Alpha DSLR and a silver reflector.
You'll have to mount this on a stand extension with a swivel head under it to get much tilt out of it. The swivel on the umbrella adapter just doesn't move much inside of this softbox.
A boom arm might work too.

Did you come up with a good way to tilt this soft box? I have been searching for a way to "tilt" the unit under the zippered soft box.... but boom arm extensions don't seem to be the best route... Any DIY ideas??

I got a Kupo 40-Inch Extension Grip Arm with Big Handle - Silver, KG203412 and a Kupo 2-1/2-Inch Grip Head with Big Handle - Silver, KG203012 .
It's on it's way to me, so I haven't tried it out yet. I think it should work though.

The grip arm worked along with a Kupo Round Stud with 3/8 Inches-16 F and 1/4 Inches-20 F KG001112 to extend the short stud on my cheap light stand. Add a weight or sandbag to the legs too.
