Quick, brainless read,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Summer Secrets (Mass Market Paperback)
I bought this book on my Kindle because the reviews said it was fast-moving and suspenseful - and it did not disappoint there. However, I would never have finished this book if there was not a "summer secret" to discover. The editing was terrible, the circumstances were unbelievable, the language was elementary, and the character development was amateurish. There were many twists and turns, which Freethy even pointed out in a sentence that read along the lines of "even Tyler could not believe this unexpected twist"... not exactly a sophisticated writing style. I could have easily read this book in 4th grade and understood it - not my idea of a good novel. However, if you want a mindless read or care more about entertainment than quality, go for it.

Your time and energy are worth more than a poor book. Thank you for honest rather than frothy reviews. $.99 is cheap. My time isn't and I'm retired. Always searching for a "grab me now" book. Won't chance this one. Where do the five-star reviews originate anyway?
I have my ideas. Oh well. Buyer beware. No one "makes" us push the "Buy Now" button.
