Find a better option. This is *not* like Kindle 3 cover.,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Amazon Kindle Touch Lighted Leather Cover, Wine Purple (does not fit Kindle Paperwhite) (Accessory)Awful cover - whoever designed this one has probably never used a Kindle. I've bought/used/given as gifts EVERY Kindle made (including the Fire which I ordered while Bezos was still on stage). I've never seen such poor quality from Amazon. The cover is flimsy, there is no closure on it so it swings open and is clumsy to hold, and it provides little protection for the Kindle Touch given the lack of padding or structure to the front of the case.
Shame on whoever designed this - it does not deserve the Kindle branding. I've already sent mine back.

Gisele "-g", as to the flimsiness of the cover, I cannot speak. Either it's sound and works or it doesn't. But, for the closure I have an idea for you that will work and look decent if you mount it correctly. Go to your friendly, neighborhood hardware store, Walmart, Home Depot, Lowe's, ad infinitum AND ad nauseum and pick up yourself a package of the Velcro strips with the "industrial strength" adhesive. You can measure and place a couple of squares of it about halfway down and in the middle of the covers. Then you measure from the inside (the part toward the spine) of the top piece of Velcro across, down over the opening and then to the inside (the part toward the spine) of the other strip. Cut carefully and VOILA! You have a closure, inexpensive and workable. If that is too whatever for you, just go to Staples and buy yourself several of those LARGE rubber bands - that too will do the trick. That's all I offer at the moment. Hope it works for you if you try it.

Excellent suggestions. Don't you think Amazon could come up with it? Couldn't Amazon come up with a cover for the KT like it has for the Kindle Paperwhite? Really- they've messed up. Not happy with any KT covers!
