Vine Customer Review of Free Product (What's this?)
This device is very simple, straightforward, and easy to use. I have plantar fasciitis and saw that this could be used for feet so thought I would give it a try. The unit only has four buttons, one for on/off, a button to toggle between use for arm/lowerback/leg and foot, and two buttons to control the intensity of the electronic pulses. I followed the instructions of where to place the pads, once hooked up to the unit, on my ankle and foot area. I was able to use it at max intensity with no issues, and the unit automatically shuts off after 15 minutes. Also included in the box is a plastic holder on which to store the sticky pads. I only have two issues with the product. First is the sticky pads. Although they claim to belong lasting, they are already losing their stickiness after a few uses. This may be partially due to where I am placing the pads, on my foot, and also that the pads don't sit flush on my skin very well in that very contoured area, so they may be coming off even more easily due to geography of placement. The second issue is in order to know where the pads are to be placed, you will need to keep the pad placement guide somewhere that it won't get lost. It is also printed on the inside of the box so you can cut out the cardboard guide as well as have the included pamphlet. While I note this as an issue, I really can't think of any way to get around having to enclose a guide. The unit isn't large enough to have a placement guide printed on it. As far as effectiveness, I did notice an improvement, although it did not take my pain away all on its own. Along with the electrotherapy device and Naprosyn, my pain is kept well at bay.
