Haven't seen the 4th season?,
This review is from: My Boys: The Final Season (DVD)
Living in Canada, we often don't get some series that are originally aired in the US. I came across this series through DVD and enjoyed the first season enough to go out and buy the set containing seasons 2 and 3. By all accounts, TBS really screwed around with the scheduling of this series and probably did it irreparable harm by its sporadic scheduling of the series. Whenever a network starts shifting around the scheduling, you know the show's in trouble and was not terribly surprised to learn of the show's demise. Having said this, I still wanted to catch the last season when issued on DVD. However, the pricing of this fourth season on DVD is just too a tad high to justify the purchase of the DVD set based on the number of episodes along with the loss of one of the key actors in the series, Jim Gaffigan. You can get this last season through iTunes for much less ($14.99 in standard definition or $19.99 in high def). This might be a better alternative than the current $27.99 pricing on Amazon. Let's hope the networks/studios, retailers, manufacturers and distributors start to "get it" in order to provide more appropriate pricing of these products based on the content.

I understand the high price. But when we read a review we are mostly looking forward to a shared experience and there was no comment on that. I, personally liked this show very much!

This wasn't about the DVD set - I was trying to tell people that they could find a better price through iTunes. If one doesn't think that information is helpful to anyone, then that's your prerogative to indicate this.
