Love british movies,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: British Cinema Collection: 8 Acclaimed Films (DVD)
But I had already seen some of this movie on Netflix, and did not realize until I had purchased this movie

IRIS'S MOM says:
You gave a poor rating because you had seen these before???? Rating a movie(s) is about the movies and what you did or did not like in it - not whether you had seen it before. This skews the ratings!!!!

I must admit I get frustrated by people who do not rate properly. It wasn't the products fault you had seen some of these previously but didn't remember. That was not a helpful review and that's the goal of reviews. All you've done is declared a product "unsatisfactory" and lowered it's rating for a silly rating. Perhaps next time you could rate based on the movies you liked and add why you didn't like the others. "Having seen them before" but forgotten them is not a review it's a statement of your mistake. Similar to the lady who didn't check ratings first so she gave it a low rating for not being family movies when it never claimed to be. Short reviews of each movie would've been most helpful, along with audio & picture quality. People, such as myself depend heavily on star ratings and reviews before I purchase. It's part of educating one self before buying, an essential need that should be followed more. I truly wish people would read over rating system first and not include complaints about seller or delivery. We only want to know if product is worth buying and ratings for wrong reasons defeat this goal. Please be more cautious in the future.

Dudnpad, she was wrong but you are horrible! When you want to make a legit point try to have decent manners. Verbal abuse is never needed in a forum such as this. You should've only told you disagreed and the reason why. You ended up looking ignorant not reviewer.

My dear S. McBee: I must agree with you. My comments were, indeed, most unkind and, in the spirit of the season as well as your most "legit" perceptions, I deleted. Please accept my apologies.
