4.0 out of 5 stars Best Buy for the Money, June 29, 2010
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Diplomat Double Metallic Silver / Black Watch Winder with Built In IC Timer (Watch)
For the price, this is the best deal going. One would have difficulty finding a comparable winder at the local jewelry or watch repair shop at this price point. I have two of these winders and they have been flawless in their performance. I use them to keep my Omega Speedmaster, Tag Heuer Monaco, Invicta Pro Diver and an off-brand (China Movement) Rousseau. They have the same features and electrics as some of the more costly winders; the key differences being the polystyrene casing used in this unit vice hand made woods, veneers fabrics and leathers found on luxury end models. For the budget minded, this is the way to go.

I hear a lot from watch enthusiasts that their winders go bad after a year or so disregarding the brand. Meanwhile I didn't notice a review of a happy owner beyond a few years of continuous operation. If somebody have it please share your brand, model and experience.
Thanks

Do the two slots in your unit rotate at the same rate/speed? I just got mine and noticed that the top one rotates faster than the other.

Just got mine as well and both seem to rotate at the same speed on mine.
