Functionally worked, but everything is online, including your SSAN,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Suze Orman's Will & Trust Kit: The Ultimate Protection Portfolio (CD-ROM)
This software installed easily on my MacBookPro with OS v10.4.11. Then the application started and explained that ALL the information, including social security numbers, dates of birth, etc., etc. are stored somewhere online. You have the option of exempting certain information but you then have to re-enter it each time. As with any end-of-life planning, there is highly detailed personal information about financials, property, etc. that I am completely uncomfortable about storing in the ethers regardless of assurances of complete security. I was hoping this was a piece of software fully contained on the laptop and used the internet solely to update forms and push changes to the laptop. Further, the fact that all this personal data is stored somewhere online is not explained anywhere on the outside of the box or on any of the paper inside. Had I been aware, I would not have made this purchase. Supposedly there is a way to replicate the online stuff to the laptop but even this is only a disconnected version of what is already online. Not at all happy.

Hello, I too am concerned about all of my personal information stored 'online.' All I wanted from this software was to have the forms needed and I fill it out with a pen and then store the paper copies in a safe place. I don't even see a lock on the browser. I don't have any 'lifelock' type of protection, but I would bet even they would not cover the identity theft if it were lost to a hacker through Suze's servers. I cannot find any REAL assurances that my information is safe once entered using this software. IF I am mistaken and there is some sort of over-the-top protection, then please post a comment and correct me. I would appreciate it.

I have the Suze Orman kit and you don't have to save any information online. I put all my data in, printed the documents

I purchased this product and was under the impression you have a choice of where to store the documents. There is no choice. I cancelled my order. No data is secure online (regardless of how much security they say is in place).

It seems a false claim and a scam to get all people's personal information in Suze's DB somewhere to do future marketing and sell more gadgets for her. Why does people's personal information be stored in someones server. This is not a tax filing through on line tax services. Does she really want to help us or her financial empire, no wonder she says give it to all family members more the merrier? This SW should have been made local install. I do like some of her financial advice and will put to good use.
Also, one can get all the 4 forms from Wikihow site. It shows all steps of how to fill the form by states and no one needs any lawyer either. So really no cost of $2500 as she was talking about. Plus any such waterproof and fire proof box can be purchased from home store for less than $30 to make it grab and go. I was almost getting this from QVC, but wanted to check on line review and was not clear about data storage, which was a big deal and consumers are mislead about their personal and financial data privacy and security. I am glad for you post and recommendation.
