Not Compatible With Android Tablets,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: WIRED Magazine (Kindle Tablet Edition) (App)
Why is Wired only available on iPad and the Kindle Fire? There is no way to access this magazine from a Honeycomb or ICS-based tablet. Why the heck not?? What is going on with such a tech-savy magazine?
I've been a loyal subscriber for many years, and much prefer digital magazines over print versions. It is quite frustrating that I can't read my favorite magazine on my very capable hardware... I hope Wired and their publisher Conde Nast can get this figured out so that their subscribers can have better access to their magazine.

I just noticed a screenshot for the Nexus 7 has what looks to be an issue of Wired on it, but the app wasn't available and is listed as incompatible. Maybe the interactive issue isn't available. As far as I can tell, that app is the only thing the Kindle Fire can do that the Nexus 7 can't. (On the Fire, it takes longer to download than to get the hard copy in the mail, so you're not missing much.)

Same here Jeremy. Loyal subscriber for many years and have NO CLUE as to why they don't just do it? My Nexus 7 is really less useful like this.

Google Play Magazines has Wired. If you're a subscriber to print, you won't be charged when you "subscribe". Works on my Nexus 7 (2013).

Yeah, I have it on Google Play now, but it doesn't seem to have all the bells and whistles the Kindle Fire app had. There were interactive animations and dynamic layouts and things.

Really? I had an email from Condé Nast customer services saying their is no app available on Android - they didn't mention this way to access it!
