A Good Manager and Little Else,
This review is from: Steve Jobs (Hardcover)
Although Jobs looks good on paper, he was a poser. I personally hate iPods. The earbuds sound pretty average when compared to a Sony Walkman cassette player. I'd take HP or Dell PCs over any Apple computer on the market. Smaller is not better. This book is well-written, but the subject matter is quite subjective. If only this book was about the amazing linguist, psychologist, and semanticist, S. I. Hayakawa, who was the founder of the Sony Corporation.

You know that this is a laughable review right? An iPod cannot compete with a cassette player and if you prefer the sound quality of sony's headphones you can plug those in. Or you can plug in a high quality pair of headphones.
I was personally amazed at how much Apple did for the beginning of computers. They built a GUI before Microsoft and they mastered the mouse before Microsoft. If Apple's main goal was accessibility and useability then you would have to agree that the progress made in Mice and GUI was integral to the growth of computing.
If you want to read a book about Sony's founder then Please, read a book about Sony's founder.

Okay, but an AIFF file is compressed like an mp3 and it does not sound as good as a high quality analog tape. The original Macs were expensive and they had a small CRT display. Regardless of an GUI or mouse, it looked quite stupid.

Ithink that you are completely on ppoint with your review. Steve Jobs definitely started the evil Hipster revolution with all of their iPhones and iPads sitting at Stabucks drinking Soy Latte's with extra foam.

@Sir George Martini,
Listen "George", it seems like your argument is on account of biased opinion and nothing else of substance. As a Mac owner, I can tell you PC is a pain in the rear end. Your pro pc troll-like propaganda manifesto sickens me.
