Changed me, really did.,
This review is from: OK Computer (Audio CD)
I first heard this album when I was at a pretty low place in my life. I had suffered a miscarriage, I was at a college I didn't like and I was alone until I found a guy I could connect with. As odd as it seems...this is the only CD I've ever found that was the perfect mix of desperation and hope I was feeling at the time. I remember feeling drained after I listened to the whole album. This is a CD for anyone who is low and wants to feel like there is light coming soon. You may not feel better...but you will feel like its coming soon
The music is an amazing mix of raw feeling guitar and orchestrated electronic sounds. I can't even agreet that Thom Yorke's voice isn't beautiful because it is. Every single emotion is there for you to feel and here. It's one of the few albums from the past 10-15 years that I would even consider giving a 5. It will let you experience every single emotion. It's a 5, no matter what and anyone who doesn't agree isn't listening for what they music is, they are listening for the formula they prefer, be it death metal or country. Listen for the value of the music.
