This review is from: Fowl Weather (Hardcover)
When I wrote a review of Enslaved by Ducks, I likened Bob Tarte to Gerald Durrell and James Thurber. Other reviewers of that book and of Fowl Weather have likened him to other equally entertaining authors. Having just completed Fowl Weather, I have come to the conclusion that Bob Tarte is, in fact, a unique original. His wry humour, whacky philosophies and brave honesty make his writing deliciously unpredictable. What other writer, in a single page can make the reader sigh with sorrow, roll his eyes and then hoot with laughter? I eagerly await the next book!
