I've very excited about the Cheat System, and greatly admire the work Jackie has done for years at Peer Trainer. I received an early copy, and lost 4 pounds in the first 5 days. What I like best about the program is I only have to think about three things:
The eats I can have unlimited amounts of (veggies, greens, berries, beans, gluten free grains and seeds like buckwheat and quinoa)
First serving eats, more count as cheats (healthy animal proteins, fruits, good fats, nuts and nut butters)
Everything else is cheats (dairy, sugar, less healthy proteins, other fats)
I count to 10 cheats a day and im done...simple
I keep the lists on my fridge to remind me, but its really pretty straight-forward once you've read through the categories.
There is also a great section on exercise using the Egosque method, which are exercises you can do at home that also promote spinal alignment. There is also a section on stress, mindset and sleep (Full disclosure-my wife and I provided some advise for the stress and sleep sections) areas that are important to health and healthy weight for anyone.
There is a section in chapter 11 that addresses food allergies. This is a BIG area for a lot of people so if you arent getting the results you want in the first week, check it out and consider combining the system with elimination of any foods you think you may have an inflammation reaction to (common food allergies include gluten, dairy, soy, eggs,corn, alcohol, sugar, artificial sweeteners)
I will be recommending this book to friends and colleagues as a very smart, easy, and doable program that allows you to make small adjustments with big results, and that's simple to follow and will help guide anyone to a healthier diet and lifestyle,
