This review is from: Caliente Nights (Kindle Edition)This is my first book written by this author and I guess for reading all the reviews I was really excited to read the story. However as I read the short novella it did not meet my expectations at all. The plot was cheezy and the stereotypes of Latino men calling her "mami" were not appreciated and were downright annoying. I felt the author did not know any Spanish phrases thus used cheeezy words to reflect the main hero's Cuban background. In addition, the story was short no angst, no plot, love scenes written were okay I did not feel the chemistry between the main heroine and main hero. Main heroine was portrayed like a "vestal virgin" and had a lot of ridiculous hang ups. Positive points in the book was the main heroines aunt. She was a sweet heart and I loved how the aunts character became the catalyst of hooking up the two characters in the end. All n All this was an okay book.
