Good for the price, just don't expect too much,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Firstly, the image is slightly misleading. When I got my first 360 I fell in love with the original headset. It was functional, had the mute switch on the controller (I HATE the floating inline switches on the new ones), and was free with the console. When my first 360 died, my headset sadly died about the same time. Recently my roommate got a 360 and for under $6 I figured I'd give this headset a shot since it had the mute switch I liked. Came in pretty quickly, not sure exactly how long as it wasn't my week for the PO box. :P Much to my disappointment, I discovered this is not the original Microsoft 360 headset but a cheap clone - I wasn't surprised however. The sound quality is all right and apparently everyone can hear me. The only knock I have against it is that the sliding part of the headset broke rather easily as I was stretching the plastic to get it to fit over my big head better. It still works fine, and it stays put on my head once I get it there, which isn't too big a deal. If you have the extra coin, I'd say try tracking down the original 360 headset if you want a switch on the controller, or obviously just get the new one, they seem to be built much better. If you're looking for a headset on the cheap (as I was), this one will get the job done, and in my experience it'll get it done well, just don't expect too much for $6.
