5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome knife at an awesome price, February 8, 2010
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Glock Model 78 Field Knife (Sports)
I work in law enforcement and this knife is great for my duty belt. It has a durable plastic clip so I do not have to take everything off my belt to get it situated. It is made from high quality steel. The knife needed sharpening when I got it but that is all well and good. This knife is made to last and I recommend it for any one that needs a good quality knife.

Avid Reader says:
How to do the one hand draw:

It breaks my heart to see people doing things like filing off the part of the sheath that retains the knife in the sheath because they can't extract the knife. I was on one site where half the reviewers there had butchered the sheath. It is very simple, as simple as snapping your fingers.

Here it is!

Place the face of your thumb on the knife retainer at the top of the sheath and the bottom of the handle. Curl the first finger back under the rear finger guard of the knife. Snap your fingers! Pop! It pops up like jack in the box and lands right in the palm of your hand.

I learned this from a woman after fumbling around with for quite a while!!!! Sometimes....we guys are too smart for our own good! Okay! Okay! I will speak for myself.

It is better to need it and not use it, then to not have it at all.
