DON"T Buy this suitcase,
This review is from: Tumi Alpha 2 Continental Expandable 4 Wheel Carry-On (Apparel)
This new suitcase is terrible. Tumi's quality is not what it used to be and their customer service experience is worse. I have at least 4 other Tumi suitcases. I used to be a loyal Tumi customer - not anymore. The wheels on the case rattle so badly the case makes a noise when it rolls down the aisle in the airport. When I took it into the store for a repair the associate tried another case and "sorry" that is what they all do. For a $600 suitcase I expect better than that

1 star seems a bit harsh for some wheels that rattle. I plan to purchase anyway.

I've had a similar bad experience at the Tumi store in Scottsdale. A relatively new Tumi carry-on, the handle broke. While they eventually fixed it, you'd think I was asking them to sacrifice a first born.

I spend a lot of time in airports and I've never seen a 4 wheeled (spinner) that did not have wheels that make that noise on hard surfaces. It's the nature of the beast and it's not just a Tumi issue. It's because the axle is not centered and the wheels are smaller than on two-wheeled roll-aways.
The plus is that you can push it unless it is on thicker carpet. It can also roll down a plane's aisle sideways. On the minus side, it does not roll as well on carpet even if you tip it onto two wheels since the wheels are so small. Again- an issue for all spinners I've seen, not just Tumi.
